What Is the AHPI?
The Allied Health Practice Index (AHPI) is Australia’s first commercial performance benchmark for allied health practice owners. Unlike clinical benchmarks that measure patient outcomes, the AHPI measures the commercial health of your practice.
Every practice is scored across four commercial dimensions — the CARE Framework — and assigned a belt level from White Belt to Black Belt. The C.A.R.E. Report publishes the aggregate data twice a year: average belt levels by discipline, profit margin benchmarks, NDIS cash flow patterns, valuation multiples, and exit readiness scores.
The AHPI Belt System
Where does your practice sit? The average Australian allied health practice scores 34 — a Green Belt. Only 1% of practices achieve Black Belt status.
